One of the amazing developments and valuable investments being made as part of the Space Camp program is the Rocket Center with its outdoor “Shed”.
The Rocket Center is a place where children can experiment with building and launching water and paper rocket models. Water rockets are designed to explain the principles of pressure and gas forces, while paper rockets are designed to teach design, stability, and trajectory. Through teamwork, children will develop and launch their models, record their results, and make improvements. The center will be an important part of STEAM education, introducing science in an interesting and hands-on way.
